As Presbyterians we do not believe that being independent is how the church is to be structured or governed. Our local body is part of the Church. The Church expands beyond our four walls at CTK, not just in membership but also institutionally.
This next week, Teaching and Ruling Elders from all over the nation and some parts of the world will gather to meet as the Church and do the business of the Church, and I would encourage you to keep up with the going-ons! And our denominational news site has some ways for you to do that. Please avail yourselves of these resources and pray for your church!
